Bob has been an organization development consultant and trainer since 1970. Most of that work has been with the leaders of parish churches. He has served as the vicar of several urban parishes and as the Congregational Development Officer in the Diocese of Connecticut. He is a member of the Order of the Ascension. Bob is the founder of the Church Development Institute program and the
director of the national, open registration CDI in Seattle. He has conducted CDI's in several dioceses. Bob is also a trainer with LTI (Leadership Development Institute <mailto:www.congregationaldevelopment.com/LTI_home.htm> ).
 
Bob’s current consultations include: a couple of church mergers and assisting a parish explore its options for the future and discern a way forward. He has also worked with a number of non-profit organizations and small businesses. That work has included: Assisting WomenRising of Jersey City increase shared leadership and self management among the staff and make several transitions in strategic direction. At Tom'
s of Maine he conducted a training program to improve team participation and facilitation skills and to help employees play a responsible part in the transitions faced by the organization;
In the Aff
ordable Housing Network of NJ facilitated its annual executive committee retreat and facilitated board development.
 
Bob has an MA
in organization development from Goddard College.
