Melissa M. Skelton      

Melissa is Rector of St. Paul's Church, Seattle and an Organization Development consultant. For several years she was the Vice -President and  Group Team Leader of System Development and Consumer Development at Tom's of Maine.  In this role, she was responsible for overall organization development and work process efforts at Tom's as well as customer service, consumer research and specific new projects.  

Prior to work at Tom's, Melissa was Vice President of Administration at The General Theological Seminary.  In this role she oversaw all operational aspects of the seminary's life, served as director of the College for Bishops, served as an adjunct faculty member in the area of pastoral theology and served as a staff member for the Church Development Institute.  During this time she was a member of the adjunct clergy staff at Trinity Wall Street and priest-associate at St. Andrew's Church, Trenton, New Jersey.

In addition to these more recent work experiences, Melissa has held a number of different positions including  Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble; Assistant Priest at All Saints, Cincinnati; Mentor Trainer for the EFM Program; and Instructor of English at Wofford College and The University of South Carolina. Melissa also served on the vestry of the Church of the Epiphany, Spartanburg, SC and was an intern at St. Simon of Cyrene in Lincoln Heights, Ohio.

Melissa's educational background includes an MA (English), MBA and M.Div.
